Well they're probably pissed off about the UK attacking IS in Iraq and Syria. IS was initially classified as an internal threat and not posing a threat to external countries. The US got upset they might lose their puppet government to IS and attacked them, the UK and a number of other countries (including my own) joined a coalition to preemptively attack them and this is the result.
I remember way back when I read about us going to attack them and thinking oh great now we're going to have these guys targeting us and since then our terrorist threat levels have skyrocketed and a number of attacks have been undertaken / attempted against us.
No countries that have NOT attacked IS have been targeted by IS. While I don't agree with violence against civilians and its my only bone of contention with IS, I can certainly understand why they're attacking the countries that have attacked them. Doesn't take a genius to figure out if you poke a nest of bee's some will sting you.
While any civilian death from violence is unacceptable, the UK lost 7 people in the attack - civilian deaths in Syria alone total 480 since August 2014 (US military report) to over 3000 (NGO reports).
Do we really think US / Englsh / Canadian / Australia etc lives are so much more important than people in other countries? I really seems that way.

ETA, DAESH, whatever your sh/t is, the answer remains the same:
You may kill us, but you won't convince us and you can't defeat us.
Yeeeeeahhh because people running around the streets killing each other is a good thing.
Why do you think IS want to "convince" you of something. What is it they want to "convince" you of?
Why do you think IS want to defeat you?
The fact is they don't want to convince you of anything. Some of them want to kill westerners like you and I because they are angry that we interfered in their business.
The fact is they don't have an intention of defeating us. I believe their intention is to bring some of what we bring to them, to us, sudden death, murder, suffering, danger.
This is something that is bad for both sides.
Lets take the Vietnam war - it started in 1945. It ended in 1975. Did the North Vietnamese defeat the US? No. Did the US defeat the North Vietnamese. Did either side convince the other that one was more right then the other.? No.
The main issue here is not one of brinkmanship, its one of compromise. IS needs to be left to either win its war with the government in Iraq or Syria, like all civil wars, for a legitimate fledgling government to arise from the ashes and become stable or like the Vietnam war it will continue to go on for decades and neither side will defeat the other but many many innocent people will die.
When will American and the allies learn that interfering in matters thousands of miles from their shores and installing puppet governments just leads to more destabilization.
1917 - Balfoours 1947 - Israel 1950's Korea, Iran 1960's Vietnam 1990's Afghanistan 2000's Iraq, Afghanistan 2010's Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria
Every one of the above conflicts were a result of the US / UK attacking, interfering in or displacing regions in the middle east / asia / SE Asia.
